Shooterus FC is a co-ed adult soccer team in the CVSA (Central Virginia Soccer Association). Kristi asked if I would design the logo for their team and I jumped on the chance to create this crest for someone I loved playing soccer with. Hopefully in the coming years, I’ll be able to join them back on the pitch and get to wear this crest myself.

With Shooterus being a play on uterus, Kristi wanted to incorporate a uterus and ovaries into the playful design. I started with some quick drafts that pulled inspiration from existing team logos (i.e. Juventus) and created some elaborate designs to contrast some of the minimal designs to get an idea of what Kristi was drawn to.
